Hanging Clock

A Clock made from a solid piece of maple which hangs from a rope that sits in the grooved edge.

The hour indicators and the ropes clasp are plated in 24k gold. While the clocks hands are made from Carbon Fiber. With a continuos sweep quartz Movement.

I wanted to create an object based on its material and present it in a way that would showcase its natural beauty and substance.
