Gradient

A metal stool comprised of 16 individual extruded steel legs that are joined at the center with a steel ring. By inverting the stool, two varying seat diameters can be achieved.

Sprayed with various colours at differing angles has given the stool a colour gradient which accentuates and contrasts the inner volume from the outer limits of the stool. While appearing purple from a distance as one approaches each individual colour becomes evident, adding more depth to a simple metal stool.
